For over 52 years , our charming bistrot ” La belle Maraîchère ” has been housed in a building in the Place Sainte-Catherine ( in the capital’s ” Fishermen’s District “) wich dates from 1759.
Our charming bistrot specialises in fish and seafood, and has earned a reputation for consistently high quality and a warm welcome.
We offer a seasonal menu, specialising in traditional, authentic French and Belgian fish and seafood dishes, with delicate and delicious flavours.
Known and recognised by foodies in Belgium and beyond as ” Belgian Master Chefs “, the Devreker family have passed their secrets from father to son down the generation : a keen sense for the right produce, the right cooking and the right price.
The wine list offers an impressive selection of over 150 Crus, chosen with care over the years to delight wine lovers.
Closed on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
